18. What do these degree programs prepare me to do?
The BA in Applied Liberal Arts program builds upon the general education requirements and approaches the liberal arts from an integrated perspective. Rather than individual courses in the humanities or sciences, students look at a broader view of how a content area relates to other related areas. The perspective provides students the opportunity to experience the arts and sciences and explore how an educated individual applies this knowledge to their lives and workplace.

This major has an education emphasis and can be good preparation for students for entry into a California Teaching Credential program.

The BA in Business Administration & Leadership program is designed for the person who wants a degree with a strong business emphasis with an eye on overall business strategies, management, and entrepreneurial perspectives.
