Am I a Transfer Student?

A transfer student is an applicant who transfers from a community, state or private college with 24 semester or more/36 quarter units or more units completed at an accredited college or university.

Minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.3
Concordia accepts both the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) and the CSU General Education Breadth Requirements to fulfill most of the university’s general education requirements.

Official final high school transcript
Official transcript from each institution attended, covering all collegiate-level work under-taken. Good standing at each institution is required. Please complete our Transcript Release Form and we will take care of this for you.
- Official transcripts must be sent directly from the high school or college to Concordia University in a sealed envelope.
Letter of Recommendation (PDF): Must be completed by applicant's employer, teacher or pastor. (Strongly Recommended)

All accepted students are invited to Concordia University’s Preview Day.
Transcript evaluations are made to determine the equivalency of transferred courses and are reviewed and mailed once the student has been accepted.
Deposit deadline for fall is May 1
