Five students and two staff members partnered with Pastor S.T. Williams, Jr. from St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Los Angeles, CA and with a few of his congregation members to participate in a mission trip to Jacmel, Haiti.

Working with President Marky Kessa of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Haiti (ELCH), the team’s mission trip involved:

Teaching Vacation Bible School to children from First Lutheran Church of Jacmel
Aiding in the construction of a church
Ministering to young children at a tent city
Training the musical leaders/choir at First Lutheran Church of Jacmel
Attending evening worship at First Lutheran Church of Jacmel
