Living on Campus

A friend is never far at Concordia. On our intimate campus of 1,200 undergrads, you’ll always know somebody, whether you’re walking to class, eating lunch or hanging out in the residence halls. There are dozens of opportunities for you to get to know others and get involved. On our Christ-centered campus, you can live, learn and grow in a supportive, caring environment. Welcome home!

Students under 21 years old are required to live on campus to build a strong community at Concordia. Students have access to a variety of services and programs to help them succeed academically and socially in a safe, secure environment.  To help in-coming students make a smooth transition to Concordia, we have a dedicated staff that provides supports them and plans activities.

On-campus housing consists of four distinct living areas. First-year students usually live in two housing areas called Chi-Ro and Chi-Sigma. The floor plans have been cleverly designed to give each student privacy for studying, yet promote the camaraderie of suite living. Each unit consists of four bedrooms/study rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Four students share the fully furnished unit, with each person having a desk, dresser, closet and bed with an extra-long twin mattress. A microwave and small refrigerator is included in each unit.

Upper class students generally live in the Upper and Lower Quads, known as Omicron and Theta. Four to five students share these furnished two-bedroom apartments with a kitchenette, a living area, a bathroom and closets.

There are a variety of dining choices on campus. You’ll find a Starbucks coffee shop, the Eagle Rock Café, and the deluxe full-service cafeteria, where Mongolian BBQ is everybody’s favorite.
The scenic campus is full of green, open spaces and newer buildings, circled by a pathway that delivers breath-taking views from the hilltop. In this energetic, beautiful environment, our students can pursue their studies and their interests, develop their talents and make lifelong friends.
